i think its the first time i've actually done anything along those lines. I used a reference picture to start with to get the basic shape and colour of the eye but did the iris freehand.

this was an old competition which i won with this image. No real prize you just get to pick the next week's brief. I chose "Beauty and the beast" (which you can see my entry for in my Gallery)

I just saw "Beauty and the beast". I really like the idea!
Checking out your gallery I found "Arwen", which I really like it especially for its colours and effects. Indeed, it would make a lovely poster!
